A brief interruption of the travel posts to announce that Clarisse’s Closet now has a knitting pattern available at Pixie Faire!
The Bristol Cardigan has a very simple seamless construction that comes together so quickly, you won’t knit just one! The design features decorative eyelet and bobble panels along the fronts and 3/4 length sleeves.
The Construction
Knitting begins at the neckline with the fronts, shoulders, and back worked in one piece back and forth. At the underarm, the sleeves are placed on stitch holders and the body is worked to the bottom. Then, sleeves are placed on double pointed or circular needles and knit. Stitches are picked up along the neckline for the collar, and along the fronts for the button bands.
Two Button Band Options
Two button band options are included with either two buttons at the top, or five buttons all the way down.
