We’re finally catching up on pictures during our backpacking trip! During the first part of our trip, we traveled around to several natural and historic locations in England inspired by the filming locations for the 2005 movie of Pride and Prejudice. It’s one of my favorite movies by far, in part because of all the amazingly beautiful sets/locations. Here is Stanage Edge, where Elizabeth majestically stands daydreaming during her holiday in the Peak District. There was a steep hike up to the top, and the rewarding view was magical. Also, VERY windy! It was the most intense wind I have ever experienced. Sometimes I had to hide behind the rocks, as I was too afraid that I’d be swept away with the gusts only to be lost in the fields of sheep below. Thankfully that did not happen, and I was still able to enjoy the view. It almost looks like a different planet, doesn’t it?
