In Florence we set out for photos at sunrise, but in Paris we wanted to catch the Eiffel Tower lit up at sunset. It’s not always easy to get the best shots of the famous sights when you’re 18 inches tall, so for this one we decided to get a view from above by going to the terrace of a department store. We were not the only ones who had this idea, so we got some funny looks, but I’d say it was worth it for this shot of the tower. Isn’t is spectacular? The lighting was so special, with a cool calmness in sea of rooftops, and a warm beacon of light looking proudly over the city.
