The last few weeks of our trip were spent in Ireland and Scotland, where we enjoyed many wonderful hikes and views of the amazing landscapes. We finished off one of our last days in Scotland with a hike up to the ruins of a hilltop fort, which was mostly covered in snow, but we could still see some of the remains! Soon after reaching the peak, a blizzard hit and we only had a few minutes to enjoy the view before making our trek back down to the comfort of our cozy wood-stove heated cabin.
And now the chronicles of our Europe Adventures have come to a close! Our trip lasted from September-December of 2019, but it has been fun to relive these moments as we’ve shared them with you throughout the year. We hope you enjoyed following our travels!
