I call this the messy bun, because it is loose and casual, as opposed to a tight and smooth ballerina bun. Here I’m showing you how to do it high on the head, but you can try it low at the base of the neck, or to the side if you like!
What You’ll need: A small hair tie and a few bobby pins
First brush hair out smoothly. No need to spritz with water, as a few fly-aways are ok!
Brush hair up into a high loose pony
Next, twist the hair, allowing it to spiral around the pony
Secure the end with a bobby pin (that little dot at the base of the bun) 
Place other bobby pins around base of bun as needed, to keep it close to the head
Messy bun!
