Question from Alyshia: I’ve recently fallen in love with the Sea Breeze romper from 2011, but I’m not sure what to pair with it to make a unique outfit. I thought maybe some black tights would be cute? Do you have any ideas?
Even though I don’t have the romper in my closet, I’ve always admired it, so I enjoyed playing around with styling it! I used a virtual outfit creating website (Polyvore) to come up with some outfits using the romper to give you some examples of different ways to style it. I used mostly doll sized pieces, and filled in the gaps with girl-sized basics that can easily be translated into things your doll may have in her wardrobe.
Summer Lovin’: The first look is what first came to mind for me when I pictured the Sea Breeze romper! Some bright colored accessories and a summery scarf are a great contrast to the neutral colors of the romper and make for a very fun and summery outfit.

Sweet Little Lady: The second outfit I came up with uses the romper as if it were a dress. I added some girly accessories for a slightly dressed-up look, and the cardigan adds a little more color to the ensemble.
Pieces Shown:
Cardigan: AG Bitty Blossom
Purse: AG Party Purse
Shoes: AG Plaid Party Dress
Day to Night: I gave Alyshia’s suggestion of black tights a try, and the outcome is quite cute! I stuck with just black and gold accessories to keep the focus more on the contrasting textures and the sparkly accessories. This would be a fun look for a girls night out!

I hope this helps give you some ideas!
